With over a decade of teaching experience, David Grayeb has become a popular choice for private lessons to students of any age, from beginner to advanced.
He has been playing and performing music since the age of 8. Beginning with piano, he quickly started playing in various competitions and recitals under the tutelage of internationally acclaimed pianist, Patti Wiggins. At age 11, he began playing saxophone, with which he had received several Jazz awards throughout junior high and high school. At 14, he developed an interest in the electric guitar and has been in multiple Rock bands ever since.
His musical endeavors have taken him all across the country including New York, New Orleans, Boston (where he studied for a period at Berklee College of Music) and even internationally to London, England.
Always staying musically busy, heâ€™s also in several creative projects, composing original pieces of music as well as rearrangements of popular songs. He is a versatile musician for hire, at home playing in almost any genre. He can be found performing regular gigs at numerous venues in San Diego, and authors periodic music articles for the online music magazine, backstage 360.
